Are pets allowed?Well mannered dogs that are not a threat to the public, not a nuisance (uncontrolled barking for example), are kept removed from controlled areas, and follow Iowa State Statutes are allowed. All pet waste must be placed in trash receptacles within a plastic bag. At the discretion of the manager, pets and their handlers may be asked to leave the property. No other non-human species are allowed to be brought into the property without the expressed permission of the staff.

Where can I buy racing fuel?Currently, we do not sell racing fuel on the property. Suppliers around the area sell it. These may include the following, but we do not maintain a current or comprehensive list: H.S Automotive and Dyno - 11308 S. 152nd St., Omaha, NE. (402) 895-8863. E98 & E85 in 5 gal pails. 9-5, M-F Turbo Turtle Logistics – 9905 Sapp Bros Dr STE 7, Omaha, NE (inside Sapp Bros). (402) 881-1959 (call/text). E85, E90, E98 in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, or 320 gallon totes. Rick (Glenwood) - (712) 310-3543 Sells VP by the barrel generally stocking 110, 112, 116, and Methanol. Sapp Brothers VP Racing Fuel in Lincoln, NE (5-gal) and Columbus, NE (pump during racing season). Also most Sapp Bros. have a few gallons on hand such as at 144th & I-80 in Omaha and Hwy 1 & I-29 in Iowa. E-85 and more.

Do you certify chassis?Please see our event schedule for any chassis cert days, typically at the beginning of the season. We only provide cert days if there is enough interest. Other area tracks, such as Onawa Dragway or Kearney Raceway Park also provide chassis certs.

Do you offer a bracket racing program?As of 2024, we offer a limited bracket racing program with 2 race weekends. Please see our calendar for information.

Do you allow overnight camping?We do allow overnight camping with prior permission. Security is not provided and services are primitive. Use our chat feature to reserve. Camping with events may have associated fees determined by the event.

Do you have electricity, water, and sewer for campers?We do not provide electricity, water, or sewer for campers. It is primitive camping. Restrooms -Drag strip pit area (North): Modern restrooms behind dragstrip grandstands. A closer porta-potty may be available. -Road course area (South): A porta-potty is available behind the road course grandstands. We are working to open modern restrooms soon. Water Non-potable water spigots for miscellaneous use are available but NOT for RV tank fills. Onboard or bottled water for drinking and cooking is recommended. Hoses are not provided. -Drag strip pit area (North): A water spigot is located on the front deck of the modern restrooms. Spigots to the North are non-functional. -Road course area (South): A water spigot is located near the road course gate (#5), approximately 140ft. North-West and on the East side of the building behind the grandstands. Resources -Love's Gas Station, on Hwy 34, approximately one mile from the motorplex, has a dump station for a fee of $10. It includes waste dump and non-potable water. There is also an air station (for a fee) and bulk propane fill. New in 2025, they will offer a few RV spots as well, offering all utilities except sewer. You must book ahead of time. -Iowa rest areas no longer offer RV dump stations. See RV Dumpsite Alternatives maintained by Iowa DOT. -Lincoln Farm & Home Long-Term Campground offers 3-night minimum stays when spots are open and has full services at each spot. It is located just over a mile from the motorplex to the North. Lincoln Farm & Home Services is a sponsor of I-29 Dragway.

Are tents allowed?Tents are allowed. We will try and find you a grassy spot when practical for the event.

How do I purchase Ice Cream Cruise tickets?All Ice Cream Cruise information can be found on Facebook. Tickets are available on The FOAT and have not been released as of when this FAQ was written in 2025.
1/8 Mile Dragstrip
1/8-Mile, WDRA Sanctioned dragstrip. Open almost every Friday and Saturday, closed on holidays. Known for Test and Tune, Run What You Brung, and No Prep grudge racing.
Road Course
Alan Wilson-designed 2.23-mile road circuit. A low-speed course; maximum speeds are around 120 mph with cornering speeds around 50 mph with the exception of Turn 4 which is a fairly fast left-hander at around 80–100 mph.
Burnout Pit
New for 2024, experience the high-rev, smoke-filled burnout pit. 100' x 110'.
Season
The motorplex is open from April to October, weather permitting. Take advantage of these 7 full featured months!
