I29 Dragway is starting back up its Bracket Racing Program for 2024!
Race Dates are July 20th & 21th (canceled) and August 3rd and 4th
Saturday gates open at 10am. Time trials (2) at 1:00pm
Sunday gates open at 8am. Time trial (1) at 9:00am

There are 4 separate points races for all classes, except Motorcycles.

​The Summit Sportsman Drag Racing Series (SSDRS)/Track Championship program for I-29 Dragway includes: Box, No Box, Sportsman, Jr Dragsters, Teen Racing, Motorcycle

These classes will be contested in accordance with the WDRA SSDRS World Championship rules.
​
To be eligible for the WDRA ET Bracket Finals and for the WDRA World Championship you must join the I-29 points program. Registration forms can be filled out at the track. You must have a WDRA license/membership before you can earn points. Go to racewdra.com/license, or call 567-224-0568.

Points will be awarded as follows.

10 points for entering

Each round win starting with 1st round – 10 points

Winner of class will receive 5 bonus points

R/U of the class will 3 bonus points

If you lose the first round, buyback and win 2nd round, then starting with round 3 you will receive 10 points per round.

Each SSDRS I-29 Track Champion earns an automatic pass to represent I-29 Dragway at the WDRA Summit Sportsman World Championship in Montgomery, AL.

Opportunity to earn a spot on the I-29 Dragway WDRA ET Bracket Finals team at Eddyville Raceway Park in Eddyville, IA. which is September 5th-8th. ET Finals Class Champions earn a pass to the WDRA Summit Sportsman World Championship in Montgomery, AL.

To have the opportunity to gain points, a WDRA license is required.

Jr.'s must have a sanctioned body license to race (WDRA, NHRA, IHRA, etc.)

All other racers who are not minors are NOT required to have a sanctioned body license; however, it is advised.

Vehicles must be able to pass all state highway safety requirements for the state in which the vehicle is registered.

Teen racing will not run for World Championship only the ET Finals at Eddyville.
