WDRA - August 7, 2024
Congratulations to the I-29 Dragway - Iowa WDRA Race For The Rod winners at the Jerry Tilson Memorial race. An awesome racer and a good friend to all. In May he lost the battle to cancer which he fought for over 10 years. It was a true honor to be allowed to do this memorial for Jerry. He was great racer, mechanic, businessman, great friend to everyone. He never went by anyone having troubles without stopping to help and asking if they needed anything, a wonderful ambassador for our sport, and just great person.
The champions of Saturday and Sunday raced off for the WDRA Rods and it was Junior Cecilia Silfka, Sportsman Tim Shaw, No Box Dennis Copp and Box Tony Petersen taking home the most spectacular award in drag racing.
